Poetic photo safari

Photography has always been a guessing game. What aperture or light setting to use or even what some of the terminology means. Ethan (my husband) and I have begun to venture out to the great outdoors in order to 1. save money on dates, 2. be more active,  and 3. to get me to use my Canon more. He’s been pushing me to take more risks with my photos, and to develop my own style and story line.  Here are a few from our trip to Ledges State Park. Usually my photography skills are used to take pictures of quilts , paper crafting projects, and yummy desserts but this new style capturing the wilderness without white backdrops and various filters and actions is quite poetic.
